About Us

Our group companies have been in the commodity (Onion-Potato-Garlic Merchants and Commission) business since 1958. This business was started by our father Deepchand Parakh who moved to Mumbai from a small village 60 KMs from Pune.Potatoes stored in cold storage last much longer, hence giving an edge to those who have such facilities in the Onion-Potato-Garlic business. Our facilities were built to provide us with a similar advantage.

It was our founder’s dream to create a cold storage facility to help his four sons to diversify into different businesses and to get into the next orbit of prosperity.Our founder decided to buy land for the cold storage in Pune in the late 90s. Unfortunately, he passed away in 1998.Consequently, the cold storage was conceptualised and built in 2003.The cold storage facility subsequently provided us with an entry into the frozen food processing industry and ipso facto the new business of frozen food storage was started.Thereafter, expansions were undertaken in 2006 and 2009. A new cold storage facility was built in Supa MIDC in the Ahmednagar district in 2012 and expanded in 2015.Plans are being evaluated for expansion in cold storage and food processing business in other territories.
